Do you find yourself fighting back your hunger just so that it won't be too much for dinner?

Somehow we lose all control when we dine out in the restaurant at night.

You don't have to eat a whole lot of food when you don't have to.

If you do, ensure it is on your cheat day only.

If oversized portions of food are on the menu, then there is no way to avoid any food temptations because most likely you will fall for it.

We all know better than to stuff ourselves with something unhealthy especially when there's plenty of food in front of us.

And yet, there are still some people who get a little carried away until their stomach is distended beyond belief!

If you want to lose weight, you would have still need to carry out the discipline.

Have your plate layout in a more concise way: one side= protein; another = carbohydrate (non-starchy veggie OR fruit) and healthy fats = avocado.

Eating out dilemma

You may have seen tips on how to cut calories in restaurants, but really, do you want to pay high restaurant prices for raw salads and simple steamed vegetables?

If not, how can you solve the dilemma of too many calories when eating out?

When you go out to eat, you want it to be special, so skip the fried foods and stay with the grilled items.

Somehow you are going to compromise your weight loss regime, but make it worth it by eating the right foods.

Here are seven tips for getting calories from restaurant meals while ordering your favorite dishes.

Say NO to large sizes

You may think you are asking for a medium, but it is actually too large in which will cause major problems on your body for hours at a time.

The last thing someone wants when they go out is to have an uncomfortable experience because their clothes are too tight after eating.

So stop over-ordering and order whatever fits you personally (especially nowadays people have bigger appetites than ever)!

Avoid bread and sandwiches

Many family restaurants still serve a food basket unless it's freshly baked or from a special bakery that day!

You do not need to eat those if you want to lose those unnecessary carbs.

If you can't resist, make sure you eat vegetables and drink a lot of water alongside it.

You are an adult and be careful what gets into your bodies :)

Don't order soda

Soft drinks are a great source of income for restaurants, but not for your body.

Sipping on a refreshing glass of soda might seem like an innocent pleasure, but it is actually bad for you.

The artificial sweeteners in carbonated soft drinks lead to weight gain because it stimulates the appetite and raises insulin levels which cause the body's cells to become resistant over time- this makes quitting difficult!

When you decide to give up the soda, far more benefits will endure more.

The benefits of quitting soda are far-reaching and can help to decrease your risk for osteoporosis.

By not drinking the sweet drink, you will be able to enjoy healthier bones that may even benefit from calcium-enriched drinks such as milk or other types instead!

Slow down, you eat too fast

You need to take your time and savor the moment.

If a meal is worth eating, then it's important that we learn how our bodies communicate with us through subtle hunger cues in order for these experiences not only to nourish but also satisfy ourselves completely.

When you eat too fast, it can be hard to feel full.

The natural response of stuffing food too fast inside your body is to speed up your eating process so that you feel satisfied more quickly and stops before they are uncomfortably full (or "overfull").

Eating slowly allows for better digestion of the foods we consume because when food takes longer than 30 minutes in our stomachs its digesting process becomes even more nutrient-dense!
